Diet
Like exercise, what you eat can have a big effect on your overall health. It might seem strange that your diet can influence your tinnitus, but foods high in sugar, salt, and preservatives can make you feel worse and, therefore, more vulnerable to its effects. There are several healthy foods that can contribute to hearing health. It can be expensive and confusing to follow along with the diet trends, but if you remember the basics, like avoid processed foods and drinking water and having vegetables, then you’re off to a good start.
Stress
Another area that involves a lot of our health is stress levels. In our world today, people have become so accustomed to bearing the burden of stress that it has affected their bodies on a deeper level. There are a lot of ways that stress could be hurting your body without you realizing it, and tinnitus could be one of them. Work on lowering your stress levels can actually do a lot to make tinnitus more bearable.
